In the latest Express Entry draw held on January 19, Canada issued invitations to 1,036 immigration candidates. Similar to the last draw, only Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence. These invitations are issued through the Immigrations, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to the PNP candidates. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score to qualify for this draw is 745. An addition of 600 points is done to the score of PNP candidates. Since September 2021, all the Express Entry draws conducted have been for PNP candidates only.
In 2022, till now 1,428 invitations have been issued to the PNP candidates under the Express Entry System. The score has been around 700 to 800 for all the last 10 PNP only Express Entry draws.
Approximately 80% of all the candidates in the Express Entry pool fulfill the requirement of the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). On the other hand, 20% make up the requirement of Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
