Canada tops the 2021 Anholt-Ipsos Nation Brands Index (NBI) for its immigration practices and investment climate. NBI was launched in 2005 by a professor, Simon Anholt. In the overall rankings this year, Canada secured second spot, Germany being the first in the survey conducted on 60 nations. Factors such as people, immigration, governance, investment indices, tourism, culture, exports etc., contributed to this year Canada’s ranking.
