315 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for provincial nominations has been by the Manitoba province. Through this Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program held on January 27, candidates from the skilled workers, skilled workers overseas and international graduates’ streams are invited.
212 LAAs were issued to Skilled Workers stream in Manitoba. A minimum score of 609 points was required.
40 LAAs were issued to the International Education Stream.
The rest 63 LAAs were issued to Skilled Workers Overseas via a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. At least a score of 703 points was required by candidates to receive invitations.
Out of the total 315 candidates, 69 of them had valid Express Entry IDs and job seeker validation codes.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
Candidates through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream are chosen depending on the required skills and training. Such candidates are further nominated for the Canadian permanent residence. Pathways included are: Manitoba Work Experience Pathway and Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
In this, the international skilled workers with appropriate skills and training are chosen for the Manitoba’s In-Demand occupations. Priority is given to candidates based on the factors such as skills, training, experience, language proficiency, close family connections etc. Pathways included under this are: Manitoba Express Entry Pathway and Human Capital Pathway.
International Education Stream
This stream is meant for the international graduates from colleges and universities of the Manitoba province. There is also no requirement for the candidates to have six months of work experience in their field. Under this, they can directly apply for a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program nomination. Pathways included are: Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway and Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
