232 invitations are sent to the immigration candidates in the new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw. Recently, two draws were held on January 11 by the British Columbia province. The invited candidates were from the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams. Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-categories candidates of both the SI and EEBC streams were sent the invitations.
Out of all the invitations, around 201 were sent through the general draw. The candidates needed a score of at least between 78 and 110 to receive invitations. The scores and eligibility criteria vary for each program and the candidates who were sent invitations needed to meet the requirements.
Another draw conducted focused on the candidates with occupations under NOC 0621 or NOC 0631 codes. These codes fall under the occupations such as retail and wholesale trade and restaurant and food service industries. 31 invitations were issued in the PNP draw. Candidates needed a score of at least 110.
Seeing the high number of candidates from various labour market industries, British Columbia province conducts separate round of invitations. These draws are held two times a month under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program for the candidates registered in the Skills Immigration Registration System.
