The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a way for foreign nationals to immigrate to Canada. Foreign nationals who want to live and work in Saskatchewan can submit their application through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). If successful, the province of Saskatchewan will nominate the candidate for Federal Government permanent residency in Canada

Program Status:
Foreign nationals with international skilled work experience or occupation-in-demand can apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program under the International Skilled Worker Saskatchewan Express Entry or the International Skilled Worker: Occupation In-Demand.
Applicants who receive a nomination certificate from the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program will be awarded 600 additional points in the IRCC Express Entry, which will help them get an invitation to apply for permanent residence quickly.
According to Statista, Saskatchewan welcomed about 13,364 immigrants between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020.
Mandatory/Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have a valid Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Code.
- The applicant must score a minimum of 60 points on the SINP point assessment grid.
- Applicant’s language test result must meet the federal Express Entry language requirements.
- The applicant must have completed post-secondary school or training comparable to at least one year of Canadian education.
- Have work experience that is high skilled or occupation-in-demand and not on the excluded Occupation List.
- Applicants must have work experience and must be related to education.
- The applicant may be required to show a Professional Status or proof of eligibility for Licensure for your job if required.
- The applicant must show settlement funds and a settlement plan.
- The applicant must plan to live and work in Saskatchewan.
- Have a valid job offer if applicable.

International Skilled Worker who wants to live and work in Saskatchewan.
Determine your eligibility and create an Express Entry profile with IRCC. Indicate your intention to live in Saskatchewan.
Create an expression of interest profile for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
If successful, you will receive an Invitation to Apply. Submit your application online for the SNIP program.
Receive a provincial nomination and apply for IRCC permanent residence.
- Applicants must first create a valid Express Entry profile with IRCC, Job Seeker Code, and indicate their intention to live in Saskatchewan if applying under the International Skilled Worker Saskatchewan Express Entry category.
- The applicant will create an account online and submit an expression of interest profile for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
- The application will receive an Invitation to Apply for SNIP if successful. Applicants must submit their application online and pay the application fee of $350. Applicants have 60 days to submit a complete online application to SINP and provide supporting documents by uploading it.
- Applicants whose application for provincial nomination are approved will be issued a provincial nomination certificate, which they can then use to apply through the IRCC Express Entry system. If your application is approved, you will be nominated for permanent residence through the IRCC Express Entry system. You must accept the nomination through the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada Express Entry portal to receive a federal invitation to apply for permanent residence as a provincial nominee from IRCC. If Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada approve the application, the applicant will become a Canadian permanent resident. - Applicants whose application for provincial nomination are approved will be issued a provincial nomination certificate, which they can then use to apply through the IRCC Express Entry system.
In January 2021, the Province of Saskatchewan had two rounds of draws. SNIP issued a total of 887 invitations to eligible applicants. The first draw was on January 7, 2021, while the second draw was on January 21, 2021. The invitations were issued to Candidates under the express entry category and the occupation-in-demand category.
