1. Patient Service Associates, Nurse Aides, and Orderlies (NOC 3413)

They are responsible for supporting the nurses, physicians, and hospital staff for supporting the patients in nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare establishments. According to Jobbank, there were 50 nurse assistant vacancies in Ontario and 832 across the country in early December. These jobs pay an average annual salary of $35,100 in Nova Scotia, based on a 37.5-hour work week, but the salary can go up to $40,950 according to the experience and employment location.

2.      Physicians – Family (NOC 3112) and Specialists (3111)

Indeed had 48 family physician vacancies and 149 specialist positions in Nova Scotia as of early December. Family physicians and general practitioners are responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, physiological abnormalities, and injuries.
