So far this year, 19 Express Entry draws exclusively for PNP candidates have been conducted by the Canadian government. In yet another draw held on September 29, invitations to apply for permanent residence are issued to 761 candidates.
These invited candidates already have received nominations through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) which implies that additional 600 points would be added in their Express Entry score. Overall to be invited, candidates needed a minimum score of 742. In the earlier draw, the cutoff score was 732 and 521 PNP candidates were invited by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Although, in this latest draw more number of candidates are issued invitations but the score required is also higher.
Highest number of ITAs issued this year
Till now this year, highest number of invitations for permanent residence has been issued to Express Entry candidates by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In the year 2020, around 107,350 invitations were issued and on the other hand now in 2021, more than 108,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have already been issued. This number is still going to increase considering the fact that three months are still left in this year to conclude.
