There were 16 eligible occupations in this draw for each category. The complete list of eligible occupations is available in Saskatchewan’s government website.

Saskatchewan’s Express Entry Sub-Category

The Sub-Category of the Express Entry is enhanced provincial nominee program, that means it is linked with Federal Express Entry system. Express Entry is responsible for managing the candidates for three of economic class immigration program that include Federal Skilled Trades Program, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates are required to create their EOI profiles for Saskatchewan to get considered for an invitation to apply for provincial nomination.  These candidates who get provincial nomination from the province of Saskatchewan will be awarded with additional 600 points for their comprehensive ranking system score. This additional award will help them to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Occupations In-Demand Subcategory

This occupation in-demand subcategory is open for immigration candidates who don’t have their Express Entry Profile. The category will include skilled workers with experience in and in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan. These are candidates who don’t have their job offer in the province. If foreign nationals want to apply for Canadian immigration via this sub-category, then they need to create an EOI profile via SINP’s online application system.

With Saskatchewan EOI system province can select immigration candidates who have the potential to flourish in the prairie province. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of different factors such as education, language eligibility, work experience, etc. to demonstrate their ability to settle in Saskatchewan
