About Provincial Nominee Program
Ontario PNP streams that are linked with Express Entry are executed under the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC’s) Express Entry System. Canadian provinces according to their economic and labour market requirements issue notifications to the suitable candidates for provincial nomination.
Candidates who receive a nomination invitation through Express Entry–ONIP streams get an addition of 600 CRS points to their overall score making them eligible for permanent resident visa from IRCC. The candidates who are issued these NOIs need to apply within the specified time. The applications are then evaluated and chosen based on various socio-economic factors and then granted permanent resident (PR) visa.
