British Columbia has held new draws, issuing more than 188 invites through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Programme’s various streams.
The draws happened on 5 April and were divided into two categories: general and targeted. The province gave 131 invites through five BC PNP streams for skilled workers and international graduates in the general draw, which covered tech occupations. The minimum points ranged from 77 to 125.
A total of 43 invitations were granted in the targeted draw to skilled professionals and international graduates. These individuals had to score at least 70 points in a draw, targeting Early Childhood Educators and Assistants under NOC 4214.
A draw aimed at health care workers resulted in 14 invitations being issued to skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level personnel, and semi-skilled workers with a minimum score of 70 points.
Furthermore, invitations were sent to entry-level and semi-skilled professionals with a minimum score of 70 for Healthcare Assistants under NOC 3413. To hide the identities of individuals who were invited, the number of invitations was stated as ‘less than 5.’
With a minimum score of 70, the final set of less than five targeted invitations went to skilled workers and international graduates under NOCs 3114 and 3213. These individuals belonged to the following fields: veterinarians, animal health technologists, and veterinary technicians.
